Lowell began his media career as a sports reporter for KWSX in Stockton. From there, he returned to the Bay Area. Following successful stints at KTVU Channel 2 News in Oakland and KLOK in San Jose, Lowell worked as a sports reporter and on-air host for Salem Interactive Media's KDOW and KTRB. He is best known for his award-winning coverage of the Oakland A's for various media outlets since 2013. Lowell is the co-founder and managing editor of Bay Area Sports Wrap.
Before entering the sports media world, Lowell compiled a resume as colorful as his personality. From delivery driver to casino blackjack dealer to educator, Lowell’s "regular guy" persona makes him one of the Bay Area's most relatable media members. A product of the East Bay, he is proud to serve what he calls the best pro sports market in America. When Lowell is not covering sports, he enjoys spending time in a cardroom or with family and friends.
